<br />7. SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, Budget adiustment for ourchase of a used ambulance
<br />MOTION, passed
<br />Mrs. Quick moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve a budget
<br />increase of $8,500.00 for the current fiscal year in line item 101-3502-
<br />421.74-06 and to reduce this line item by $10,000.00 for fiscal year
<br />2001 for the purchase of a used ambulance for the department's
<br />bomb squad. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.

<br />8. ASSESSMENT OF OMITTED PROPERTY, Approved
<br />MOTION, passed
<br />Mrs. Quick moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to add part ofthe NW
<br />1/4 and NE 1/4 of Section 23 lying north of Maple River in Section 23,
<br />Township 140, Range 50 as omitted property for 2000 in the amount
<br />of $75,000, according to notice sent from the county auditor to
<br />Frances Henke Estate, Gerald L. Henke, Trustee, in West Fargo, North
<br />Dakota. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.

<br />9. HOLIDAY CLEARING BUREAU, Employee solicitation aporoved
<br />MOTION, passed
<br />Mrs. Quick moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to allow the
<br />solicitation of clothing items from Cass County employees for the 7th
<br />annual Hats, Socks & Mittens Drive to be given to the Holiday Clearing
<br />Bureau for distribution to needy adults. On roll call vote, motion
<br />carried unanimously.

<br />Mrs. Quick moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve county
<br />beer and liquor licenses for 2001 applicants, subject to review and
<br />approval by the State's Attorney, the Sheriff and the respective
<br />township boards, as follows: On roll call vote, motion carried
<br />unanimously.
