<br />Commission Minutes--November 20,2000 2217 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />NOVEMBER 20, 2000 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman John Meyer called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as <br />follows: Donna Schneider, Robbie Quick, Alon Wieland, Paul Koenig and John Meyer. <br /> <br />2. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded that the minutes of <br />the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to approve the order <br />of the agenda as printed. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. ELECTION WORKERS, Commendation letter <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Quick moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to authorize the <br />chairman to sign a letter of appreciation to the Cass County Auditor's <br />Office and all Election 2000 workers in Cass County for their <br />dedication and cooperation in connection with the November 7th <br />General Election. This letter will be sent to county personnel in the <br />Auditor's Office, Treasurer's Office, Tax Director, Personnel, <br />Maintenance, State's Attorney, Clerk of Court, Social Services, <br />Information Services, and Sheriff's Department, as well as to the <br />following: city personnel from the Cities of Fargo and West Fargo, <br />all local precinct workers, the absentee ballot board, resolution board <br />and the Cass County canvassing board. On roll call vote, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />5. INFORMATION SERVICES, Sale of surolus comouter eauipment <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Quick moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to allow the <br />Information Services Department to dispose of surplus computer <br />equipment according to the Commission Policy Manual Section 14.81, <br />Sale of Used Computer Equipment. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />6. SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, Vehicle ourchases <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Quick moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to authorize the <br />Sheriff's Department to purchase five 2001 Dodge Intrepid cars at <br />$16,951.00 each, two Ford Crown Victorias at $21,197.00 each and one <br />
