Commission Minutes--November 6,2000 2212 DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS NOVEMBER 6, 2000 1. MEETING TO ORDER Chairman John Meyer called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Donna Schneider, Robbie Quick, Alon Wieland, Paul Koenig and John Meyer. 2. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mrs. Quick moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. 3. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the order of the agenda with the following addition to contract approval: North Dakota Highway Patrol Traffic Safety Grant for Sheriff's Department. Motion carried. 4. PERMIT FOR RAFFLES AND BINGO, Kindred Close-Up: Chaffee Lions Club MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to approve bingo and raffle permittor Kindred School District-Close Up Program on the date of November 21, 2000, at the Kindred School, Kindred, NO. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to approve raffle permit for Chaffee Lions Club on the date of November 30,2000, at the Farmer's Union, Embden, NO. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 5. ABATEMENT APPLICATION, Approved for Wayne Glemming MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded that Abatement #4170, #4171 and #4172 be approved as recommended by the Director of Equalization. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. 6. CONTRACT APPROVAL, Blue Cross Blue Shield: Fargo Cass Public Health: North Dakota Highway Patrol MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to approve the following contracts submitted by respective department head, subject to state's attorney approval, and authorize the chairman to sign: On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.
