<br />Commission Minutes--May 1,2000 2121 <br /> <br />13. VOUCHERS, ADproved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to approve Voucher No. <br />139,555 through No. 139,892. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />14. EMPLOYEE PARKING SPOTS; COURTHOUSE PLAZA REPAIRS; ANNEX PARKING LOT <br />REPAIRS; FLOOD MASTER PLAN COMMITTEE MEETING; MEETING UPDATES, <br />Committee reDorts <br />Mrs. Johnson said that due to additional motor pool cars being added to the county fleet, <br />parking spaces are limited for county motor pool vehicles. She asked if the Commission would <br />consider eliminating one of the two designated employee parking spots in the Annex parking <br />lot. Mr. Wieland said he wants to review the parking situation because he does not like taking <br />benefits away from employees. Mr. Koenig said there must be some other alternatives to the <br />situation. Mrs. Johnson said she will draw up some alternatives for the Commission to review. <br /> <br />Mrs. Johnson said repairs to the Courthouse Plaza will be made within the next month in <br />addition to repairs at the Annex parking lot. County Highway Department staff will do the repair <br />work in the parking lot, which will require employees to park on nearby streets for a day or two. <br /> <br />Mrs. Johnson reported for Commissioner Quick (who left the meeting early) that a Flood Master <br />Planning Committee meeting has been scheduled for May 23, 2000. <br /> <br />Mr. Wieland and Mr. Meyer reported on meetings they have attended in the past two weeks, as <br />well as upcoming meetings. <br /> <br />15. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to receive and file <br />correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. <br /> <br />- Federal Emergency Management Agency letter regarding the preliminary Flood <br />Insurance Study reports and Flood Insurance Rate Maps; <br />- North Dakota Department of Transportation information regarding bridges needing <br />immediate attention, bridge inspection reports, and load limit posting on bridges. <br /> <br />16.
