<br />Commission Minutes--ApriI17, 2000 2112 <br /> <br />7 . ABATEMENT APPLICATION, Approved for Garland Hagemeister <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that abatement #4166 <br />for Garland Hagemeister be approved as recommended by the City of <br />Mapleton and the Director of Equalization. On roll call vote, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />8. BEER & LIQUOR LICENSE, Approved for Tatonka. LLC at Knickerbocker <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve issuance of <br />a county beer and liquor license, including Sunday sales, to Tatonka, <br />LLC d/b/a Knickerbocker Liquor Locker, Hickson, North Dakota, for <br />the remainder of 2000 under the ownership of Tom Neameyer and <br />Christopher J. Nelson. The Cass County Sheriff's Department <br />conducted a background investigation on the applicants and <br />recommended approving the license. The Pleasant Township Board <br />of Supervisors also granted their consent to the new license. On roll <br />call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />9. BUDGET FOR 2001, Schedule prepared by County Auditor <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the 2001 <br />budget schedule as outlined by the County Auditor in a letter to the <br />Board of Commissioners dated April 5, 2000. On roll call vote, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />10. FIREWORKS DISPLAY PERMIT, Approved for Starr Fireworks <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve a fireworks <br />display permit for Starr Fireworks at their place of business, 3805 <br />52nd Avenue South, Fargo, North Dakota, on the date of April 29, <br />2000. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />11. PLAT APPROVAL, Final plat of Wendt Addition <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that the Cass County <br />Board of Commissioners grant final plat approval to Wendt Addition, <br />Section 13 of Township 139N, Range 55W in Cass County, North <br />Dakota. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />12. CONTRACT APPROVAL, Cass County Soil Conservation District: Northern Capital Trust <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the following <br />contracts submitted by respective department head and portfolio <br />commissioner, subject to state's attorney approval; and authorize the <br />chairman to sign: On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br />
