<br />Commission Minutes--February 7, 2000 2088 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FEBRUARY 7, 2000 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman John Meyer called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as <br />follows: Donna Schneider, Robbie Quick, Alon Wieland, Paul Koenig and John Meyer. <br /> <br />2. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that the minutes of <br />the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA, Order apDroved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve the order <br />of the agenda as printed. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS, Approved for 1999 and 2000 <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to amend the 1999 <br />911 Service Contract item by $4,100 due to increased service costs, <br />and increase the Clerk of Court Guardian Ad Litem item by $9,700 <br />according to a letter from Michael Montplaisir, County Auditor, dated <br />January 19, 2000. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to amend the 2000 <br />budget for the Clerk of Court Guardian Ad Litem Charges by $10,000 <br />due to an error on the original budget, and to amend the Worker's <br />Compensation budgets by a total of $2,800, according to a letter from <br />Michael Montplaisir, County Auditor, dated January 19,2000. On roll <br />call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />5. COMMISSION POLICY MANUAL, Amend Section 14.01. Road Advisory Committee <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to amend <br />Commission Policy Manual Section 14.01 by appointing Rich Sieg, <br />County Highway Superintendent, to the Road Advisory Committee to <br />replace Steve Grindberg, who retired from the Highway Department. <br />On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6. ABATEMENT APPLICATION, Approved for Shawn & Melanie Zander <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded that Abatement <br />#4161 for Shawn & Melanie Zander be approved as recommended by <br />
