PERMIT FOR FIREWORKS DISPLAY, Approved for Starr Fireworks <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Bennett moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve a permit for <br />fireworks display to be held at 9:00 PM on May 7,2005, at Starr <br />Fireworks, 3805 52nd Avenue South, Fargo. On roll call vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />9. CONTRACT APPROVAL, Heritaae Hills Subdivision; All-Terrain Grounds <br />Maintenance; Cretex Concrete Products North. Inc.; Sellin Brothers. Inc.; Aaareaate <br />Industries <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Bennett moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve the following <br />contracts submitted by respective department head, subject to state's <br />attorney approval, and authorize the chairman to sign: On roll call vote, <br />the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Heritage Hills Subdivision-2005 Adult Mosquito Control Agreement; <br /> <br />All-Terrain Grounds Maintenance-Springvale Cemetery grounds maintenance; <br /> <br />Cretex Concrete Products North, Inc.-box culvert project in Section 2 of <br />Davenport Township and Section 35 of Addison Township, in the amount of <br />$66,564; <br /> <br />Sellin Brothers, Inc.-grading project on Cass County Highway 12 from the <br />Barnes County line to County Highway 38 in Cass County, in the amount of <br />$814,228.63; <br /> <br />Aggregate Industries-Amended Street Improvement District #2004-1, <br />Greyhawk Estates Subdivision. <br /> <br />10. NATIONAL PUBLIC SAFETY TELECOMMUNICATION WEEK PROCLAMATION, <br />April 1 0-16, 2005 <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Bennett moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to authorize the chairman <br />to sign a proclamation for National Public Safety Telecommunication <br />Week for April 10-16, 2005. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />11. VECTOR CONTROL FACILITY, Bids delayed <br />Terry Stroh, from T.L. Stroh Architects, was present. He said bids were opened this <br />morning for the Vector Control facility. The estimated cost of the project was $860,000 and <br />bids came in at $974,300. The total cost including architect and contingency fees would be <br />around $1.1 million. He said connecting the facility to underground water and sewer <br />appeared to increase the costs of the mechanical bids. In addition, there was a tie on the <br />general bid between Lee Jones Construction and T. F. Powers Construction. <br />Representatives from both companies were present and both said they would review their <br />bids and try to come up with some different options. <br />
