<br />Commission Minutes--April 4, 2005 2880 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />APRIL 4,2005 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Darrell Vanyo called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as <br />follows: Scott Wagner, Vern Bennett, Ken Pawluk, Darrell Vanyo and Robyn Sorum. <br /> <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Darrell Vanyo led the Pledge of Allegiance at this time. <br /> <br />3. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Wagner seconded that the minutes of the <br />previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve the order of the <br />agenda with addition of a proclamation for National Public Safety <br />Telecommunication Week. Motion carried. <br /> <br />5. NORTH DAKOTA INSURANCE RESERVE FUND, Proxy vote at annual meetina <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Bennett moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to authorize the chairman <br />to sign the proxy vote for the North Dakota Insurance Reserve Fund <br />annual meeting to be held May 11, 2005, at the Ramkota Inn, Bismarck, <br />North Dakota. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6. EXTENSION SERVICE FAMILY NUTRITION PROGRAM, Grant continuation approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Bennett moved and Mr. Wagner seconded that the Cass County <br />Commission support the Family Nutrition Program county proposal for <br />continuation of the program from October 1, 2005-September 30, 2006, <br />pending proposal acceptance by state and federal partners. On roll call <br />vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />7. BEER LICENSE FOR LEONARD SAND HILLS GOLF COURSE, Renewed for 2005 <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Bennett moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to renew a county beer <br />license for 2005 for Leonard Sand Hills Golf Course, LLC, subject to <br />review and approval by the State's Attorney, the Sheriff and the <br />respective township board. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />
