Commission Minutes--April 4, 2005 2880 REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS APRIL 4,2005 1. MEETING TO ORDER Chairman Darrell Vanyo called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Scott Wagner, Vern Bennett, Ken Pawluk, Darrell Vanyo and Robyn Sorum. 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Darrell Vanyo led the Pledge of Allegiance at this time. 3. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Wagner seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. 4. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve the order of the agenda with addition of a proclamation for National Public Safety Telecommunication Week. Motion carried. 5. NORTH DAKOTA INSURANCE RESERVE FUND, Proxy vote at annual meetina MOTION, passed Mr. Bennett moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to authorize the chairman to sign the proxy vote for the North Dakota Insurance Reserve Fund annual meeting to be held May 11, 2005, at the Ramkota Inn, Bismarck, North Dakota. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 6. EXTENSION SERVICE FAMILY NUTRITION PROGRAM, Grant continuation approved MOTION, passed Mr. Bennett moved and Mr. Wagner seconded that the Cass County Commission support the Family Nutrition Program county proposal for continuation of the program from October 1, 2005-September 30, 2006, pending proposal acceptance by state and federal partners. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 7. BEER LICENSE FOR LEONARD SAND HILLS GOLF COURSE, Renewed for 2005 MOTION, passed Mr. Bennett moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to renew a county beer license for 2005 for Leonard Sand Hills Golf Course, LLC, subject to review and approval by the State's Attorney, the Sheriff and the respective township board. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
