<br />Cass County Sheriff. An archer may also obtain a special doe only archery <br />license and tag, available from the North Dakota Game and Fish Department, <br />and issued by the Cass County Auditor. The cost of that license is established <br />by state law. The archer may use this special doe only license only when <br />hunting in the Specified Property. <br /> <br />7. Safety zones: An archer shall not hunt in any safety zone. The safety zones, if <br />any, shall be identified on the Hunting Map available from the Cass County <br />Sheriff. Archers may position themselves along the side of a safety zone and <br />shoot into allowable hunting areas. No hunting shall be allowed in or around the <br />buildings of occupied properties of any of the hunting areas. <br /> <br />8. Tree stands and steps: Hunting from portable tree stands/steps is permissible <br />provided they do not damage the tree in any way. The portable stands/steps <br />must be removed daily. Use of any type of permanent stand/step, old or new, is <br />prohibited. <br /> <br />9. Deer drives: Deer drives are not allowed for safety reasons. <br /> <br />10. Trees and brush: Cutting of trees and brush are not allowed. <br /> <br />11. Vehicles prohibited: All hunting and removal of game shall be conducted on foot. <br />No vehicles shall be allowed inside hunting areas at any time. <br /> <br />12. Hunter attire: Archers must wear hunter orange if hunting during portions of the <br />deer gun season. There are no clothing restrictions for other periods of the <br />archery season. <br /> <br />13. Mandatory Questionnaires: Every archer shall complete a hunting questionnaire <br />at the end of the hunting period and return it to the Cass County Sheriff at: 211 <br />9th Street South, Fargo, ND 58103. The response must be as accurate as <br />possible. The completed questionnaire must be received by the Cass County <br />Sheriff on or before February 15, 2006 for the 2005 hunting season and on or <br />before February 15, 2007 for the 2.006 hunting season. Failure to timely <br />complete the survey shall make that archer ineligible to participate in future <br />hunting seasons. <br /> <br />14. Experimental. program: This program is experimental in nature and may be <br />terminated at any time by the Cass County Commission. <br /> <br />SEVERABILITY: <br /> <br />Should any part of this Ordinance be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such <br />adjudication should not affect the validity of the Ordinance as a whole or any other <br />portion thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional. <br />
