Commission Minutes-February 22,2005 2861 REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FEBRUARY 22, 2005 (TUESDAY) 1. MEETING TO ORDER Chairman Darrell Vanyo called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Scott Wagner, Vern Bennett, Ken Pawluk, Darrell Vanyo and Robyn Sorum. 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Scott Wagner led the Pledge of Allegiance at this time. 3. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mr. Bennett moved and Mr. Wagner seconded that the minutes of the last regular meeting held February 7,2005 be approved as written. Motion carried. MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded that the minutes of the special meeting held February 18, 2005 be approved as written. Motion carried. 4. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mr. Pawluk moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve the order of the agenda as printed. Motion carried. 5. GUARD AND RESERVE EMPLOYEES, Statement of Support MOTION, passed Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to authorize the chairman to sign a statement of support for employees serving in America's National Guard and Armed Forces Reserve. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 6. AUDITOR'S OFFICE, Receive monthlv financial statement MOTION, passed Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to receive a monthly financial statement from the Auditor's Office for the month ended January 31, 2005. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 7. TAX-FORFEITED PROPERTY, Chairman and auditor to sian deed to City of Alice MOTION, passed Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to authorize the chairman and the county auditor to sign a county deed to the City of Alice for the sale of a tax-forfeited lot. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
