<br />Commission Minutes--February 7, 2005 2854 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS: PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FEBRUARY 7, 2005 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Darrell Vanyo called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as <br />follows: Scott Wagner, Vern Bennett, Ken Pawluk, Darrell Vanyo and Robyn Sorum. <br /> <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Darrell Vanyo led the Pledge of Allegiance at this time. <br /> <br />3. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Pawluk seconded that the minutes of the <br />previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve the order of the <br />agenda as printed. Motion carried. <br /> <br />5. EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT, Bids accepted for radio eQuipment shelter <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to accept the lowest bids <br />as outlined in a letter dated January 24, 2005, from Dave Rogness, <br />Emergency Manager, for the construction of an equipment shelter for the <br />Cass Clay Area Public Safety Radio Project; and authorize the <br />appropriate construction contracts be executed as required. On roll call <br />vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6. COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, LaserFiche Internet access <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to authorize the <br />Information Technology Department to purchase necessary equipment <br />and coordinate installation of DSL or cable service for Cass County <br />Commissioners to access the LaserFiche system; and authorize the <br />Auditor's Office to reimburse commissioners for installation and monthly <br />charges. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />7. NATIONAL INCIDENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (NIMS) TRAINING, Budaet approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve the detail <br />budget totaling $200,000 for the NIMS training program and to forward <br />the budget to the Department of Emergency Management. On roll call <br />vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />
