Box 2806 <br />Fargo, ND 58108-2806 <br /> <br />GASS COUNTY COMMISSION <br /> <br />Joyce, <br /> <br />Enclosed are supporting materials for the county commission meeting on February 7. <br />Brian Walters plans to briefly present the proposed Amendment to the Bylaws of the <br />Growth Initiative Fund. In addition, he would like to recommend a formal reappointment <br />of the two GIF Board of Directors representing Cass County. The updated Bylaws will <br />now include language specifying temllimits. A normal term will be 3 years but we plan <br />to stagger terms at the beginning to allow for better alignment of term expirations. Brian <br />will be suggesting Mary Johnson's reappointment for 3 years and Mick Hammerstrom's <br />reappointment for 1 year. <br /> <br />If you need anything else prior to the meeting, or if there are any conflicts to Brian <br />requesting time on your agenda, please let me know. <br /> <br />Thank you, ~ <br /> <br />~k <br /> <br />SUGGESTED MOTIONS: <br />Move to approve amendments to the Fargo Cass County Economic Development <br />Corporation Growth Initiative Fund Bylaws, as presented by Brian Walters, Executive <br />Director. <br /> <br />Move to reappoint Mary Johnson for a three-year term and to reappoint Mick Hammerstrom <br />for a one-year term on the Fargo Cass County Economic Development Corporation Growth <br />Initiative Fund Board of Directors representing Cass County. <br />
