<br />Commission Minutes--December 20, 2004 2834 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS: PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />DECEMBER 20, 2004 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Darrell Vanyo called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as <br />follows: Scott Wagner, Vern Bennett, Ken Pawluk, Darrell Vanyo and Robyn Sorum. <br /> <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Vern Bennett led the Pledge of Allegiance at this time. <br /> <br />3. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded that the minutes of the <br />previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve the order of the <br />agenda with the following additions: 1) contract with Fargo Cass County <br />Economic Development Corporation; 2) contract with North American <br />Communications Resource, Inc.; and 3) quit claim deed to Neil Hanson. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />5. PERMIT FOR BINGO, Approved for Kindred FFA <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to approve a bingo permit <br />for the Kindred FFA to be held January 1, 2005 through March 31, 2005, <br />at the Kindred School in Kindred, North Dakota. On roll call vote, the <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6. PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Approved for Sandhi lis Archers <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to approve a raffle permit <br />for Sandhills Archers, Inc. to be held January 14, 2005, at the Sandhills <br />Archery Park, West Fargo, North Dakota. On roll call vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />7. PERMIT FOR SUNDAY ALCOHOL BEVERAGE SALES, Approved for Club 94 <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Sorum moved and Mr. Bennett seconded to approve a Sunday <br />alcohol beverage permit for the Club 94 at their establishment near <br />Casselton, North Dakota, on the date of December 26, 2004, according to <br />a letter from Brenda Hocking, owner. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />
