AUDITOR'S OFFICE, Monthly financial statement received <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to receive a monthly financial <br />statement from the Auditor's Office for the month ended October 31, <br />2004. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />9. CONTRACT APPROVAL, T.L. Stroh Architects and Interiors; Juvenile Accountability <br />Block Grant; Farao Cass Public Health <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to approve the following <br />contracts submitted by respective department head, subject to state's <br />attorney approval, and authorize the chairman to sign: On roll call vote, <br />the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />T.L. Stroh Architects and Interiors-new vector control facility; <br />JABG (Juvenile Accountability Block Grant) -award for JABG funds for Cass County <br />Juvenile Crime Enforcement Coalition; <br />Fargo Cass Public Health-agreement for provision of health services for Cass <br />County by the Fargo Cass Public Health, including correctional health care. <br /> <br />10. SALE OF LOTS, Quit Claim Deed to P. Nyaaard; Contract for Deed to C. Erickson <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to authorize the chair and the <br />county auditor to sign a Quit Claim Deed with Peter A. Nygaard for <br />redemption of his property in Charles A. Robert's Addition to the City of <br />Fargo for payment of all delinquent taxes. On roll call vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to authorize a Contract for <br />Deed between Cass County Government and the former owner, Chris <br />Erickson, for property described as Auditor's Lot 2 of the NW % of <br />Section 8, Hill Township in Cass County, North Dakota. On roll call <br />vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />11. RESOLUTION #2004-14, Authorize Issuance of Refundina Revenue Bonds <br />Attorney Jim Stewart, from Arntson & Stewart, P.C., was present to answer any questions <br />on the MIDA Bond Application of American Lutheran Homes, Inc. (Bethany Homes) for <br />refunding revenue bonds. Mr. Stewart said no public hearing is required on this project <br />because the bonds will be used solely to refund prior issues; and he said the amount does <br />not affect the county's $10 million dollar bond limit. Ray Weisgarber from Bethany Homes <br />was also present. <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to authorize the chair and <br />the county auditor to sign Resolution #2004-14 Authorizing the Issuance <br />of Refunding Revenue Bonds (American Lutheran Homes, Inc. Project) <br />Under Chapter 40-57 N.D.C.C. and Authorizing the Preparation of <br />Necessary Documents Thereof. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />
