<br />Commission Minutes-November 15, 2004 2816 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS: PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />NOVEMBER 15, 2004 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairwoman Robyn Sorum called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present <br />as follows: John Meyer, Robyn Sorum, Darrell Vanyo, Vern Bennett and Scott Wagner. <br /> <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />John Meyer led the Pledge of Allegiance at this time. <br /> <br />3. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Wagner seconded that the minutes of the <br />previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve the order of the <br />agenda with the following additions: 1) contract with Fargo Cass Public <br />Health; 2) quit claim deed to Peter Nygaard; 3) contract for deed to Chris <br />Erickson; and 4) to reschedule three State's Attorney items for the next <br />meeting. Motion carried. <br /> <br />5. ROAD DEPARTMENT, Federal Aid Proaram <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to authorize the chair to sign <br />the 2005-2006 Department of Transportation Federal Aid program sheet, <br />as presented by County Engineer Keith Berndt. On roll call vote, the <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6. PERSONNEL OVERVIEW COMMITTEE, Ratify action of November 1st <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to ratify Personnel Overview <br />Committee action of November 1, 2004 to amend Personnel Policy <br />Manual Section 7.50, On-Call Pay, adding the word "emergency" to the <br />call back portion of the policy. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />7. SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, Approve purchase of vehicles <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to authorize the Sheriff's <br />Department to purchase two 2004 Dodge Intrepid patrol cars, two 2005 <br />Chevrolet Impala patrol cars and three 2005 Chevrolet Impala unmarked <br />cars for a total cost of $115,882.20, to be paid from the 2005 budget. On <br />roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />
