<br />Commission Minutes-October 18, 2004 <br /> <br />2811 <br /> <br />The early voting precinct, established by HAVA (Help America Vote Act) will begin in the <br />county commission room at the courthouse tomorrow morning. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner reported that he was elected treasurer of the North Dakota County <br />Commissioners Association at this year's North Dakota Association of Counties convention <br />held in Bismarck on October 3-6. Four of the five Cass County Commissioners attended. <br />Mr. Meyer said he enjoyed attending meetings on water issues during the convention. <br /> <br />A consensus was given for Bonnie Johnson to have legislation drafted to raise the mill levy <br />limit from one mill to three mills for the annual vector control budget. <br /> <br />Commissioners are invited to attend a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house at the Red <br />River Regional Dispatch Center beginning at 2:00 PM on October 27, 2004. <br /> <br />Mrs. Johnson reminded commissioners of the Risk Communication Seminar at 9:00 AM on <br />October 28,2004, in the City Commission Room, Fargo City Hall. <br /> <br />20. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Vanyo seconded to receive and file <br />correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: North Dakota <br />Department of Corrections notice of inspection and certificate of <br />compliance of the Cass County Juvenile Detention Center. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />21.
