<br />Commission Minutes--September 20,2004 <br /> <br />2797 <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, Bud~et adjustment approved for ~rants <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to authorize the Auditor's <br />Office to make the appropriate revenue and expense changes in the <br />2004 budget of $40,925 as a result of two Department of Transportation <br />grants received by the Sheriff and previously approved by the County <br />Commission. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />LOST INSTRUMENT BOND, Received and filed for Washin~ton Mutual <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to receive and file the <br />Indemnity Bond for Lost Instrument for Washington Mutual; and <br />authorize the county treasurer and the county auditor to issue a <br />duplicate check. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />CEMETERY MAINTENANCE, Bud~et adjustment approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to amend the 2004 budget <br />for cemetery maintenance by $1,500 and allow the described work to be <br />done at Golliet Cemetery, according to a letter from the county auditor <br />dated September 10,2004. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />9. <br /> <br />AUDITOR'S OFFICE, Monthly financial statement received <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to receive a monthly <br />financial statement provided by the county auditor. On roll call vote, the <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />SPRINGVALE CEMETERY, Authorize chair and auditor to si~n replat <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to authorize the commission <br />chairwoman and the county auditor to sign the Third Replat of Part of <br />Springvale Cemetery for filing purposes. On roll call vote, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />11. COMMISSION POLICY MANUAL, Amend Section 4.00, Advisory Boards <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to amend Commission <br />Policy Manual Section 4.00, Advisory Boards, with the appointment of <br />Ray Otterson of Kindred to fill a vacancy on the Cass County Housing <br />Authority Board for a term to expire July 1,2007. On roll call vote, the <br />motion carried unanimously. <br />
