Viste, Assistant State's Attorney <br /> <br />~, J <br />L':J v <br /> <br />RE: <br /> <br />Joint Powers Agreement - English language interpreter <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />September 2, 2004 <br /> <br />************************************************************* <br /> <br />I have reviewed the statute regarding joint powers agreements along with the <br />proposed agreement titled "English Language Interpreter; Training and Coordination." <br />It appears that the agreement meets the requirements of N.D.c.c. § 54-40.3-01. <br /> <br />Please be advised that pursuant to N.D.c.c. § 54-40.3-03 a political subdivision <br />entering a joint powers agreement is encouraged to file one copy of the agreement and <br />explanatory material with the advisory commission on intergovernmental relations. <br />
