Conclusion
If this addition is approved by the Cass County Commission, we would solve many of the issues
currently affecting the Cass County Sheriff's Office and the Cass County Coroner's Office. As
public servants, and stewards of taxpayer money, it is imperative that when we build, spend and
add to county infrastructure, we do so for realistic and valid reasons. The issues we discussed in
this study are real issues affecting our performance and our ability to serve the community. As
years go by,they will only continue to grow.
An investment in this addition will allow us to solve current issues, at current building costs, yet
will allow for growth for many years to come; which is a diligent use of taxpayer dollars.
We respectfully request the Cass County Commission's approval to research this project further
by hiring an architect to develop a plan that would give us a cost to this addition to determine
whether or not we can, or should, move forward with this endeavor.
