Commission Minutes October 21, 2013 4222 <br /> Mr. Vanyo said the United States House of Representatives may vote on the Water <br /> Resources Reform and Development Act (WRRDA) this week. The legislation would <br /> provide federal authorization for the diversion project. The United States Senate has <br /> already approved the Water Resources Development Act (WRDA) for 2013. <br /> Mr. Berndt asked the board for input on whether the Building Committee created for the <br /> West Addition could continue to meet as a committee to address other space and planning <br /> matters that may arise. The consensus of the commissioners was for the committee to <br /> continue in order to address these types of issues. <br /> Commissioners provided updates on meetings they have attended in the last few weeks. <br /> 20. CORRESPONDENCE, Received and filed <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Vanyo moved and Mr. Peterson seconded to receive and file <br /> correspondence outlined by the secretary as follows: Motion carried. <br /> Findings of Fact, Conclusions of Law and Order Preliminary Statement from the North <br /> Dakota Public Service Commission regarding an application for waiver, amended <br /> certificate of corridor compatibility, and amended route permit from Northern States <br /> Power Company for the Cap X electric transmission line; <br /> Letter from the North Dakota Department of Transportation regarding the Transportation <br /> Alternatives Program (TAP) for federal fiscal year 2015 (copy forwarded to the county <br /> engineer); <br /> Letters from the North Dakota Department of Health to R &G Inc., Floyd's Pumping and <br /> Drain, GRP Associates, Inc., Sundale Excavation, and Northern Improvement <br /> Company regarding inactivation of waste transporter permits due to failure to pay the <br /> annual permit fee; <br /> Letter from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) regarding a <br /> stakeholder meeting scheduled for October 22, 2013, to discuss updates to the Flood <br /> Insurance Study (FIS) Report and Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRM) for a portion of <br /> Cass County; <br /> Letter from the North Dakota State Water Commission (SWC) regarding meetings to be <br /> held across the state to discuss the cost share funding program, including a draft <br /> prioritization guidance concept and proposed changes to the SWC's cost share policy. <br /> 21.
