Copies are to be sent to our <br />icongressional delegation. <br /> <br />, <br />: Committee Reports were given. <br />i <br /> <br />Proposal of $50 <br />increase for Co. <br />employees <br /> <br />The Board discussed a proposed salary increase for County employees for the <br />;fiscal year 1978-1979, and the general opinion was for a $50.00 per month increase <br />ifor each employee rather than a percentage increase. No officiar action was taken. <br /> <br />I On motion by Mrs. Stanton and seconded by Mr. Hendrickson, the meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />MAY 3, 1978 <br /> <br />Chairman Wold called the meeting to order and upon roll call, all members we,re present. <br /> <br />Mr. Satrom moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting <br />i be approved as written. Upon the recommendation of the County Road Superintendent, Mr. Satrom moved and <br />Co. auth. to bury Mr. Hendrickson second~d that Northwestern Bell Telephone Company be authorized <br />cable Ito bury cable under County Road 17. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Agree. with St. i Mr. Satrom moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the Chairman be authorized to sign <br />Hwy. Dept. fori "the agreements with the North Dakota Highway Department for railroad-highway automatic <br />railroad-highway signals on crossings at Harwood, Argusville, Prosper, Amenia, Erie, Ayr, Pinkham and <br />automatic signalslMaPleton; the Road Superintendent to include an inquiry about crossings at Davenport <br />which he feels are the most important. Mr. Sondrall withdrew his motion. <br /> <br />Letter from FHA f Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Satrom seconded that the Board receive and file the <br />Office reo disas-lletter from the County Supervisor of the Farmers Home Administration in West Fargo <br />ter aid &'filing I stating that since Cass County was declared a Federal Disaster Emergency Area, farmers <br />deadlines Iwho suffered losses to buildings, land, cattle or machinery and are unable to obtain <br />!needed credit elsewhere have until October 17, 1978, to file an application and those who <br />ihad production losses caused by the disaster must file an application prior to <br />IAPril 20, 1979.
