Halvorson be received, filed and <br />Ireferred to Noble Township. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Board adopts Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the Board adopt a policy <br />policy for closngwhereby the Chairman of the County Board and the County Auditor shall decide if <br />County offices County Offices should be closed due to a snowstorm; or if the Chairman of the Board <br />due to blizzards cannot be reached, th~ decision shall be made by the Auditor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Fish & Wildlife Mr. Sondrall reported that he contacted the President of the East Central <br />Servo will not ,'commissioners Association about inviting representatives of the Fish and Wildlife <br />be on agenda for Service to the next meeting in Valley City on March 13th, but he was informed <br />East Central mtg.,that the program has already been scheduled for most of the morning. <br />, <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Increase in I The County Director of Tax Equalization reported that the law pertaining to <br />per diem for Itownship and city assessors has been revised and there is an option for the County Board <br />assessors attend-ito pay each assessor an amount not to exceed $20.00 per day plus mileage for attending <br />ing the annual iannual assessor's meetings held by the County Tax Director. Mr. Hendrickson moved and <br />mtg. set by the IIMrs. Stanton seconded that the County pay $20.00 for a full day and $10.00 for a <br />County Tax Dir. half-day to township and city assessors attending the annual meeting. Co. Weed <br />Control Officer <br />at a salary of <br />$1200.00 <br /> <br />An Invocation was given by the Chairman. <br /> <br />! Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the minutes of the previous <br />Imeeting be approved as corrected. Motion carried. <br /> <br />I Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mr. Satrom seconded that Mr. George Griffeth be appointed <br />!County Weed Control Officer to replace Irvine. Dietrich, who has resigned. The motion <br />Icarried with Mrs. Stanton opposing. <br /> <br />Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mr. Satrom seconded that the salary for George Griffeth <br />as County Weed Control Officer be the same as last year, this being $1,200.00. <br />Motion carried. <br />
