Hejl, <br />Manager; Jacob Gust, Manager; Melissa Hinkemeyer, Secretary-Treasurer; Leilei Bao, <br />Accountant; Carolyn Fiechtner, Administrative Assistant; Sean M. Fredricks, Ohnstad <br />Twichell, P.C.; Kurt Lysne and Alexa Ducioame, Moore Engineering, Inc. Managers <br />Richard Sundberg and Jay Colwell were absent. <br /> <br />Approval of Agenda <br />It was moved by Manager Hejl, seconded by Manager Gust, and unanimously carried to <br />approve the order of the agenda, as presented. <br /> <br />Minutes <br />It was moved by Manager Hejl, seconded by Manager Gust, and unanimously carried to <br />approve the minutes of the April 23, 2024, meeting, as presented. <br /> <br />Potential combination of legal assessment drains that outlet into Drain #13 <br />Alexa Ducioame discussed information regarding the potential combined assessment <br />district of Drain #13 and legal assessment drains in North Cass and Rush River Water <br />Resource Districts that outlet into Drain #13. <br /> <br />The Board discussed next steps including future public hearings and directed the <br />Secretary to contact the Cass County Finance Office to inquire about the possibility of <br />including a notice with future property tax mailings to the property owners within the <br />assessment districts of the potential combined assessment districts, to spread awareness <br />and gather feedback from property owners on the proposed combination. <br /> <br />The Board directed Moore Engineering to prepare maps of properties that are currently <br />within more than one assessment district that would benefit from a combined assessment <br />district of Drain #13 and legal assessment drains in North Cass and Rush River Water <br />Resource Districts that outlet into Drain #13. <br /> <br />
