<br />Commission Minutes--March 15, 1999 1951 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />MARCH 15, 1999 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairperson Robbie Quick called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as <br />follows: Paul Koenig, John Meyer, Alon Wieland, Donna Schneider and Robbie Quick. <br /> <br />2. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Meyer moved and Mr. Koenig seconded that the minutes of the <br />previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA, Order aooroved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the order of <br />the agenda with the following addition to the regular agenda: County <br />Highway 14 right-of-way condemnation. On roll call vote, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />4. SOCIAL SERVICES EMPLOYEE, Commendation letter to Roger Flynn <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to authorize the chairto <br />sign a commendation letter to Roger Flynn, Social Services employee, <br />who is retiring after 39 years of service. On roll call vote, motion <br />carried unanimously. Mr. Flynn was present to receive the letter and <br />a plaque in honor of his retirement. <br /> <br />5. ELECTION, Approve list of inspectors. designate polling olaces. set polling hours <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the election <br />inspectors and designate polling places, according to the list <br />provided by the County Auditor's Office for the April 20, 1999, <br />election; and to set the polling hours as 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. On roll <br />call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6. PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, Aooroved for Minn-Kota Feline Club <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve raffle permit <br />for Minn-Kota Feline Club to be held April 4, 1999, at the Red River <br />Valley Fairgrounds in West Fargo, North Dakota. On roll call vote, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />7. APPOINTMENT TO FARGO DOME, Russ Johnson's name forwarded for reappointment <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to forward the name of <br />Russ Johnson to the Fargo City Commission for appointment to his <br />
