Commission Minutes-July 15, 1998 1835 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> JULY 15, '1998 <br /> <br />1, <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairperson Donna Schneider called the special meeting to order at 9:30 AM with all members <br />present as follows: Robbie Quick, Paul Koenig, John Meyer, Alon Wieland and Donna <br />Schneider. <br /> <br />The purpose of the special meeting is to interview architectural consultants for the design of a <br />proposed new county jail. Seven proposals were submitted by the deadline of June 19, 1998, <br />and three firms were selected for personal interviews after combining the rank order of all five <br />Commissioners rating the firms. <br /> <br />Discussion was held on what questions would be asked of each firm and the format to be <br />followed for conducting the oral interviews. <br /> <br />JAIL ARCHITECTURAL CONSULTANTS, Interviews held <br />Interviews were held with YHR Partners at 10:00 AM, with T.L.
