Commission Minutes--August 18, 1997 1683 DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN a CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS AUGUST 18, 1997 MEETING TO ORDER Chairman Alon Wieland called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Donna Schneider, Paul Koenig, John Meyer, Roberta Quick and Alon Wieland. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mrs. Quick seconded to approve minutes of the last regular meeting held August 4, 1997, and to approve minutes of the special meeting held August 5, 1997, as written. Motion carried. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mr. Koenig moved and Mr. Meyer seconded to approve the order of the agenda with the following additions: 1) out-of-state travel for Social Services; 2) amended motion for Weed and Vector Control acting pay; 3) Road Department sale of equipment; 4) request for additional hours for Brewer Lake caretaker position; and 5) discuss City of Kindred Planning and Zoning Commission appointment from extra-territorial area. Motion carried. g PERMIT FOR SITE AUTHORIZATION, West Fargo VFW at Red River Valley Fairgrounds MOTION, passed Mrs. Quick moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve Site Authorization Permit for West Fargo VFW to conduct games of chance at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds, West Fargo, North Dakota on the dates of September 9-11, 1997, according to documents provided to West Fargo VFW by the North Dakota Attorney General's Office, Gaming Division. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. PERMIT FOR SPECIAL EVENT, Fargo Holiday Inn at Bonanzaville MOTION, passed Mrs. Quick moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve special event permit for Fargo Holiday Inn to serve alcoholic beverages at Bonanzaville, USA, located at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds for the Great Plains Software Stampede on the date of September 10, 1997. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. PLAT APPROVAL, Final Plat of Ordahl's Subdivision in Normanna Township MOTION, passed Mrs. Quick moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded that the Cass County Board of Commissioners grant final plat approval to Ordahl's Subdivision, NE 114 of Section 32, Township 137N, Range 50W in Cass County, North Dakota. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.
