Minutes--August 15, 1994 1236 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS[-PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />AUGUST 15, 1994 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Steve Risher called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all <br />members present as follows: Don Eckert, Sharon Toussaint, Alon <br />Wieland, Bernie M. Ness and Steve Risher. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that the <br /> minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve <br /> the order of the agenda with the following additions to the <br /> consent agenda: 1) raffle permit for Nora Lutheran Church <br /> of Gardner, and 2) mosquito control contracts with the <br /> cities of Horace and Frontier. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />WEED CUTTING, Publication approved <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Ness seconded to authorize <br /> publication of the notice for weed cutting according to <br /> North Dakota Century Code. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SHERIFF DEPARTMENT, Out-of-state travel approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Ness seconded to approve out-of- <br /> state travel for Lyla L. Rath, RN, to attend the National <br /> Conference on Correctional Health Care, on September 26-28, <br /> 1994, in San Diego. On roll call vote, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> <br />SOCIAL SERVICES, Out-of-state travel approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Ness seconded to approve out-of- <br /> state travel for Marlene Sorum to attend a pre-placement <br /> visit for a foster child on August 9, 1994, in Alexandria, <br /> MN. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY OF CASS COUNTY, Additional housing vouchers <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Ness seconded to send a letter of <br /> support for application of the Housing Authority of Cass <br /> County for an additional ten units of housing vouchers. On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
