Comm. Minutes--June 6, 1994 1212 DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS JUNE 6, 1994 MEETING TO ORDER Chairman Steve Risher called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Don Eckert, Sharon Toussaint, Alon Wieland, Bernie M. Ness and Steve Risher. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mr. Wieland moved and Mr. Ness seconded that minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mrs. Toussaint moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve the order of the agenda adding the following to item k. on contract approvals: 1) Astech Corporation, 2) Border Sates Paving, Inc. and 3) McDonald Mud-Jacking. Motion carried. STAFF COMMENDATION, Social Service employee's retirement MOTION, passed Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to give a letter of commendation to Beverly Thompson, retiring Social Services employee, for her 19 years of service to the citizens of Cass County. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. RESOLUTION #1994-3 & 4, Bond sale Juvenile Justice Center addition MOTION, passed Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve Resolution #1994-3 (INITIAL RESOLUTION FOR THE ISSUANCE OF LIMITED TAX BUILDING FUND BONDS OF 1994) and #1994-4 (RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF ~2,210,000 COUNTY OF CASS LIMITED TAX BUILDING FUND BONDS OF 1994) for the addition of three floors on the Juvenile Justice Center building. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. SUNDAY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE PERMIT, Approved for Wild Rice Bar & Grill MOTION, passed Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve application for Sunday Alcoholic Beverage Permit for Wild Rice Bar and Grill through December, 1994. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. SITE AUTHORIZATION PERMITS, West Fargo VFW~ F-M Community Theater MOTION, passed Mr. Ness moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve site authorization permits for West Fargo VFW at the Red River Valley Fair Beer Gardens and for F-M Community Theater at the Windbreak Lounge to conduct games of chance under license issued by North Dakota Attorney General for the period of July 1, 1994 through June 30, 1995. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.
