Minutes--August 3, 1992 891 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />AUGUST 3, 1992 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Alon Wieland called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all <br />members present as follows: Don Eckert, Steve Risher, Gene Shannon, <br />Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint and Alon Wieland. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that the <br /> minutes of the previous meeting be approved as <br /> written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Eckert moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to <br /> approve the order of the agenda, adding site <br /> authorization permits and Personnel Department out-of- <br /> state travel to the consent agenda and adding proposal <br /> to update Tri-County soil survey to the regular <br /> agenda. Motion carried. <br /> <br />STAFF COMMENDATION, Steve Grindberg MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to send <br /> a letter of commendation to Steve Grindberg, Road <br /> Superintendent, a copy of the letter to be placed in <br /> his personnel file after being posted on the main <br /> floor bulletin board. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ROAD AND STREET REPAIR, Annual disbursements to Davenport and Grandin <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to <br /> approve annual disbursement of road and street repair <br /> funds to the City of Davenport in the amount of $369 <br /> and to the City of Grandin in the amount of $741. On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />UTILITY PERMIT, Williston Basin Interstate Pipeline Co. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to <br /> approve utility permits for Williston Basin Interstate <br /> Pipeline Co. to cross County Roads 1, 3 and 10 in Cass <br /> County. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, Section 24-25, Erie Township MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to <br /> acknowledge that the Board of Commissioners is aware <br /> of the exception to the $30,000 rule for bridge <br /> replacement between Sections 24-25, Erie Township, as <br /> <br /> <br />
