Minutes--June 15, 1992 871 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> JUNE 15, 1992 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Vice Chairwoman Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint called the meeting to order <br />with members present as follows: Don Eckert, Steve Risher, Gene Shannon <br />and Sharon "Pepper" Toussaint. Alon Wieland was absent. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to adopt <br /> minutes from June 1, 1992, regular meeting; minutes from <br /> June 2, 1992, special meeting; and minutes from June 8, <br /> 1992, special meeting as written· Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Amended and order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to adopt agenda <br /> as amended by adding item 2a. regarding a bill from <br /> Family Practice Center and approve the order of the <br /> agenda· Motion carried. <br /> <br />PERMIT FOR RAFFLE, St. Benedict's Church approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to approve <br /> raffle permit for St. Benedict's Church, Horace, ND, to <br /> be held September 20, 1992. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT, Robert Kuklok to Planning Commission Advisory Board <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to appoint <br /> Robert Kuklok to serve as an advisory member to the Cass <br /> County Planning Commission for a term that ends December <br /> 31, 1993. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously· <br /> <br />PERSONNEL OVERVIEW COMMITTEE, Actions from June 2, 1992, ratified <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to accept the <br /> recommendation of the Personnel Overview Committee to <br /> fill a vacancy in the Register of Deeds Office by <br /> offering a salary above the minimum range of grade A12 to <br /> Carol Harrington, former employee with 20 years of <br /> service in Cass County, crediting her with three years by <br /> offering an annual salary of $15,197; with assurances <br /> from Deanna Kensrud, Register of Deeds, that this action <br /> will not create any internal inequity within her office <br /> and that there are adequate fiscal resources to <br /> accommodate this salary. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
