Minutes--May 4, 1992 849 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO BEAD. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> MAY 4, 1992 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Alon Wieland called the meeting to order with all members <br />present as follows: Don Eckert, Steve Risher, Gene Shannon, Sharon <br />"Pepper" Toussaint and Alon Wieland. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded that the <br /> minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Shannon moved and Mr. Risher seconded to approve the <br /> order of the consent agenda as printed and approve the <br /> regular agenda with inclusion of travel requests for the <br /> Sheriff's Department and Data Processing. Motion carried. <br /> <br />STAFF COMMENDATION, LaVonne Rudolph, Cheri Spittler, Rebecca Lindstrom <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to send letters <br /> of commendation to LaVonne Rudolph, Cheri Spittler, and <br /> Rebecca Lindstrom upon their retirement for their years of <br /> service. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />OUT OF STATE TRAVEL, Director of Tax, Sheriff, Auditor, Social Service <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to approve out of <br /> state travel for Frank Klein, Director of Tax, to attend <br /> North Central Regional Association of Assessing Officers <br /> conference in Sioux Falls, SD, on June 3-5, 1992; expenses <br /> to be paid from the Director of Tax Equalization budget. <br /> On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to approve out of <br /> state travel for Patti Wasmuth to attend National D.A.R.E. <br /> Officers Convention in Louisville, KY, on July 15-19, 1992; <br /> funding provided on a 72% federal match with the remaining <br /> 28% from asset forfeiture funds. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously· <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to approve Out of <br /> state travel for Annette Ingulsrud and Ruby Ackerman to <br /> attend National Government Finance Officers Association <br /> Accounting Seminar in Minneapolis on May 18-21, 1992. On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Risher moved and Mr. Shannon seconded to approve out of <br /> state travel for Bev Bohn to attend a staffing for a child <br /> in foster care in Fergus Falls, MN, May 6, 1992.
