Minutes--August 7, 1990 498 <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COHMZSSIONERS <br /> <br />AUGUST 7, 1990 <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman Gene Shannon called the meeting to order with all members <br />present as follows: Oscar Sondrall, Alon Wieland, Don Eckert, Sharon <br />"Pepper" Toussaint, and Gene Shannon. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed <br /> Hrs. Toussaint moved and Hr. Eckert seconded to approve the <br /> minutes of the previous meeting of July 17, 1990. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDED <br />There was no objection to amending the agenda to include a request <br />for out of state travel for a Social Services employee as approved at <br />the Social Services Board meeting today, and to include a request <br />· from County Planner Earl Haugen for consideration of denial of a <br />request made to the County Planning Commission 'for' a variance from <br />the Cass County Plattin~ and Land Subdivision Regulations. <br /> <br />SHERIFF DEPARTHENT, Advertise for sale of used vehicles <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Hrs. Toussaint seconded to authorize <br /> the Sheriff's Department to advertise three used vehicles <br /> for sale through the local newspaper, to obtain written <br /> bids to be opened by the Sheriff's Department, and money <br /> from the sale of said vehicles be placed in the general <br /> fund. On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SOCIAL SERVICES, Clerk III salary ad.justmen~ MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wteland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to authorize <br /> salary adjustment for Social Services employee Debbie <br /> Hogue, Clerk III, as approved by Cass County Social <br /> Services Board during Board meeting of July 17, 1990· On <br /> roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ROAD & STREET REPAIR FUNDS, Annual payment to Grandin and Frontier <br /> MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wie]and moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to approve <br /> annual disbursement of road and street repair funds to the <br /> City of Grandin in the amount of $681 and to the City of <br /> Frontier in the amount of $587. On roll call vote, motion <br /> carried unanimously· <br /> <br />OFFICER'S REPORTS FOR JUNE, Received and filed MOTION, passed <br /> Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Toussaint seconded to receive <br /> and file Officer's Reports for June, 1990. On roll call <br /> vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
