Mr. Larson moved and <br />"'Mrs. Stanton seconded that Chairman Eckert be authorized to send a letter acknowledging <br />Dr. Levine's correspondence and stating that the Cass County Commission is in favor <br />!of the 911 concept and would like to see further investigations .into the project. <br />iOn roll cail vote, the motion carried with four members voting "Aye" and Mr. Wieland <br />! voting "Pass". <br />I <br />I On motion by Mr. Larson and seconded by Mrs. Stanton, the meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />i <br /> <br />I <br />, <br />I <br /> <br />I Chairman Eckert called the meeting to order and upon roll call, all members <br />! were present. <br />i <br />r . Supt. to <br />increase equip. <br />rental rates <br /> <br />Mr. Larson moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that Steve Grindberg, County Road <br />Superintendent, be authorized to increase the County's equipment rental rates <br />according to the schedule he has prepared. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Veteran's Tax i <br />Exemption apprvdJ <br />for Donald O. ! <br />Kjenstad I <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded to approve a Veterans Tax Exemption <br />on Lot 3, Block 6, Hilleboe Terrace Addition to the City of Fargo, for Mr. Donald O. <br />Kjenstad. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimoUSly. A copy of the resolution <br />is on file in the County Auditor's Office. <br /> <br />Lost Instrument Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to receive and file the Indemnity Bond <br />Bond for John S.I on Lost Instrument for John Scott Evanson, and authorize the County Auditor to issue <br />Evanson i a duplicate check. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Raffle permit i Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded to grant approval for Shanley High School <br />for Shanley High,1 to hold a raffle on the date of April 23, 1983, at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds. <br />School I On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />I <br /> <br />Disc. with area <br />water resource <br />districts <br /> <br />Mr. Robert Thompson from the Red River Joint Water Management Board appeared <br />request the Commission's suppo~t of House Bill 1584 which calls for notification <br />to the various water resource boards whenever a culvert is changed or a bridge is <br />constructed in order for them to monitor possible changes in the flow of water. <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />Also present were representatives from each of the four water resource districts <br />in Cass County--Maple River, Southeast Cass, North Cass and Rush River. They spoke <br />on various projects within their districts. <br /> <br />Agreement signed i Upon the request of Dan Twichell, Attorney for the Southeast Cass Water Resource <br />for Water ResourceDistrict, Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that Cass County enter into <br />Districts to take! an agreement with the four water resource boards for the division of administrative <br />,over adminis. & ! and financial control over certain Legal Drains located in Cass County. On roll call <br />fin. control overi vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br />'Legal Drains ! <br /> <br />Mr. Palmer Satrom of Page spoke on the matter of <br />and basically stated that there should be in-put from <br />appointments to the water resource boards and also on <br /> <br />water resource districts <br />the local area in terms of <br />the actual construction projects~ <br />
