<br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the taxes due and owing on
<br />the lease hold interest of Gerald Kilfoyle in Sections 9 and 16, Harwood Township,
<br />· for the years 1976 and 1977 in the total amount of $10,059.97 be extended against
<br />property owned by Gerald Kilfoyle described as follows: W~ of the NW~ of Section 22,
<br />'Harwood Township, as a tax lien on said property and any other property he may acquire
<br />: in the future. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.

<br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the taxes due and owing
<br />on t~e lease hold interest of Richard Kilfoyle in an 82.72 acre tract located in the
<br />W~ of Section 19, Reed Township, for the year 1978 in the amount of $1,007.63
<br />be extended against property owned by Richard Kilfoyle described as follows:
<br />a'descriptive tract in the SE corner of the SE~ of Section 14, Reed Township, described
<br />as follows: beginning at the SE corner, thence N 75', W 33' to beginning, thence W 480',
<br />N 540', E 450', S 540' to beginning containing 6 acres, as a tax lien on said property
<br />and any other property he may acquire in the future. On rollcall vote, the motion
<br />carried unanimously.
<br />
<br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Eckert seconded that the States Attorney investigate
<br />all possibilities of keeping the County Commissioner elections at large rather than
<br />by districts. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.

<br />On motion by Mr. Larson and seconded by Mrs. Stanton, the meeting was adjourned.

<br />Chairman Wold called the meeting to order and upon roll call, all members were present.
<br />
<br />Mr. Larson moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the minutes of the previous
<br />meeting be approved as written. Motion carried.
<br />
<br />Mr. Eckert moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the Chairman and the Auditor
<br />be authorized to sign the agreement fo~ Construction Engineering Services for the
<br />State Highway Department to pay $3,199.44 to the Moore Engineering Company for
<br />engineering services on a flood-related project north of West Fargo. On roll call vote,
<br />the motion carried'unanimously.
<br />
<br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that the County Road Superintendent
<br />be authorized to purchase a 1980 model power broom from General Diesel and Equipment
<br />Company in the amount of $9,900.00. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
<br />
<br />Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Larson seconded that the Chairman be authorized to sign
<br />the following Resolution: On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
<br />
<br />BE IT RESOLVED, That pursuant to the provisions of Section 57-02-08 (20)
<br />. North Dakota Century Code and in accordance with the applications for the following
<br />and the showing by the Auditor's Worksheet in compliance with the statute that the
<br />unpaid taxes for the year 1981 be cancelled and that the County Auditor and
<br />County Treasurer be hereby directed to take such ~ction as required to accomplish
<br />the cancellation of said taxes of record to the extent listed below:
