Road 6 proj. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />MARCH 5, 1980 <br /> <br />Chairman Stanton called the meeting to order and four members were present, <br />Mr. Hendrickson being absent. <br /> <br />An Invocation was given by Mrs. Stanton. <br /> <br />Mr. Satrom moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting <br />be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Upon the request of Larry Stern, Assistant States Attorney, Mrs. Wold moved and <br />Mr. Sondrall seconded that the Chairman be authorized to sign the Grant Application to the <br />North Dakota Law Enforcement Council for the Summer Intern Program at a cost to the County <br />,of $50.00. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimoUSly. <br /> <br />that a gambling permit be granted to the <br />held on April 15, 1980, at the Watering Hole <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Committee Reports were given. <br /> <br />meeting of the Metropolitan Council <br />A-95 Review for the City of Fargo <br />that the Metropolitan Council did not have <br />to the County Board previously. <br /> <br />No. 5224 <br /> <br />On motion by Mr. Sondrall and seconded by Mrs. Wold, the meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />ADJOURNED MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />MARCH 12, 1980 <br /> <br />Chairman Stanton called the meeting to order and four members were present, <br />Mr. Hendrickson being absent. <br /> <br />Mr. Satrom moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting <br />be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Sondrall reported on the public meeting with the State Highway Department <br />concerning proposed signal light crossings in the City of Fargo. He stated that there <br />was an error in the notice of the meeting in that the State Highway Department is not <br />proposing a signal light at lOth Street and 2nd Avenue South as has been requested <br />a number of times by the County. However, Mr. Sondrall and other County officials <br />in attendance at that meeting had an opportunity to voice their opinions in favor <br />of a signal light at this crossing. <br /> <br />A letter was received from the State Highway Department regarding proposed <br />improvement on 32nd Avenue South from University to Interstate 94, which is within <br />the Fargo city limits. <br /> <br />A letter was also received from the State Highway Department regarding proposed <br />improvement on 52nd Avenue South, which involves paving the present road with further <br />improvements consisting of widening the road in the future. Mr. Satrom did not feel <br />it would be worthwhile to pave the present road. <br /> <br />Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Wold seconded that Mr. Satrom or Mr. Sondrall <br />be authorized to sign the documents at the State Highway Department bid letting <br />to be held in Bismarck on March 14, 1980. On roll call vote, the motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />
