Joan Mikula, County Superintendent of Schools, appeared before the Board to inform i them that she cannot continue to operate her office on the budget that was allowed iher for 1979-1980. After discussion, the Board asked where there might be some ! additional money that could be transferred to her budget, and the County Auditor i suggested that she be allowed to over-spend her budget and the difference made up i at the end of the fiscal year when there are usually line items in the General Fund : that are not expended. Mr. Satrom moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that Mr. Grindberg be authorized to !advertise for bids for pick-up trucks for the County Road Department. Committee Reports were given Reportsi in Bismarck with the North Dakota I meeting of the Southeastern North on the meeting that Mr. Hendrickson attended Association of Counties and by Mr. Sondrall on a Dakota Community Action Agency which he attended. ADJOURNED MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS JANUARY 30, 1980 Chairman Stanton called the meeting to order and upon roll call, all members iwere present. ! Mr. Satrom moved and Mrs. Wold seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting ibe approved as corrected, the correction being that the State Highway Department inotified the Board that the cost to the County for the 1980 bridge re-inspections Iwill be $3,276.00 instead of $10,920.00. Upon the request of the North Dakota Highway Patrol District 5 Office in Fargo, Mrs. Wold moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the County Sheriff's Department lend to the Highway Patrol their insulating cover for the teletype machine which the County no longer uses; until such time that the Highway Patrol has no further use for the cover.
