Commission Minutes-April 15, 2002 2431 I'""" REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS APRIL 15, 2002 1. MEETING TO ORDER Chairman Alon Wieland called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: John Meyer, Donna Schneider, Scott Wagner, Robyn Sorum and Alon Wieland. 2. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. 3. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mr. Meyer moved and Mrs. Sorum seconded to approve the order of the agenda with the addition of a contract/purchase order for Wheeler Lumber Operations to the contract approval item on the consent agenda. Motion carried. - 4. OMITTED ASSESSMENT, Approved for Allen Goltz MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to add descriptive tract in Section 28, Township 137, Range 52 to the City of Leonard as omitted property for 2001 in the amount of $65,000 residence, according to notice sent from the county auditor to Allen Goltz of Leonard, North Dakota. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 5. COMMISSION POLICY MANUAL, Amend Section 4.00. Advisory Boards MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to amend Commission Policy Manual Section 4.00, Advisory Boards, by appointing Robyn Sorum as Cass County's representative on the Fargo-Moorhead Metropolitan Council of Governments and appointing Alon Wieland as alternate. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 6. PERMIT FOR SUNDAY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE SALES, Approved for Club 94 MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve a Sunday alcoholic beverage permit for the Club 94 at their establishment near Casselton, North Dakota, on the date of May 5, 2002. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. - 7. DEVILS LAKE-SHEYENNE RIVER-RED RIVER ADVISORY COMMITTEE, Terminated MOTION, passed Mr. Wagner moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to support the termination of the Devils Lake-Sheyenne River-Red River Advisory Committee, as requested in a memorandum from Merle L. Huhner, Secretary-Treasurer of that committee, dated April 3, 2002. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
