RECEIVED <br /> <br /> F E5 2 2 2002 <br /> <br />CASS COuNtY COMMI~iON <br /> <br />INVESTIGATION OF ABATEMENT APPLICATION <br /> <br />ABATEMENT NO. 4218 & 4219 <br /> <br />Following is a report on the investigation of the abatement application of: AllSed Noe <br /> <br />Cass County Board of Commissioners and State Tax Commissioner: <br /> <br />The applicant is asking that the residential structures be declared exempt on his property located <br />in Gardener Twp for the years 2000 and 2001. Mr. Noe has submitted a physician's certificate <br />stating that he is legally blind. <br /> <br />The Gardner Twp. Board recommended approval of the abatement. <br /> <br />I've reviewed the application and did visit with the applicant. Mr. Noe indicates that his <br />blindness is irreversible and that he hasn't had a driver's license since 1984. NDCC 58-02-08(22) <br />allows for an exemption on the residential improvements. <br /> <br />SUGGESTED MOTION: "I move that Abatement 4218 & 4219 be approved, as <br />recommended by the Gardner Twp Board and the Director of Equalization." <br /> <br />Dated this 22nd day of February, 2002. <br /> <br />Francis Klein <br />Director of Tax Equalization <br /> <br /> <br />
