In addition to myself as chair of the committee, I would recommend the following members: Commissioner Scott Wagner, Jail Portfolio; Bonnie Johnson, County Coordinator; a representative from the City of Fargo, to be named by the Mayor; a representative of the District Court, to be named by the Presiding Judge; and Rick Hoganson of Foss Associates. The first mission of this task force would be to meet with area legislators to determine whether any State funding might be available for expansion of the State District Court into a new county office building. If this subcommittee is approved, I anticipate holding the first meeting in the next 30-45 days. SUGGESTED MOTION: Move to appoint a west addition task force consisting of the following committee members: Commissioner Alon Wieland, to serve as chair; Commissioner Scott Wagner, Jail Portfolio; Bonnie Johnson, County Coordinator; a representative from the City of Fargo, to be named by the Mayor; a representative of the District Court, to be named by the Presiding Judge; and Rick Hoganson of Foss Associates.
