Our 2002 budget/ocluded 53500 to purchase a breaker attachment for the skid steer loader. After further consideration, I've decided a power ride-on sweeper for the slnop and parking area may be a higher pm'ority. The proposed sweeper would cost $5,500. The other $2,000 would come from savings o~ other equipment that bas been bid and come in favorabIy~ The list price on new sweepers ranges from $13,000 to $16,000 and we received several quotes is that price range. Bronco Corporation in West Fargo has a nearly new sweeper with only 54 hours on it_ They will see ir for $5,500. They've allowed us to test it for the past week with good. results, Tloe machine will be used mainly for sweeping the indoor shop an.d equipment storage areas, l't can also be used to sweep the partdng lot. The unit is propane powered se it can be safely operated indoors. We currently sweep the shop by hand with brooms.
