COUNTY DEED <br /> <br />This indenture made this 22nd day of January, 2002, between the County of Cass, <br />North Dakota, party of the first part, and City of Page, PO Box 5, Page ND 58064-0005, <br />party of the second part, witnesseth: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the real property hereinafter described was acquired by the county through <br />tax deed proceedings for the nonpayment of taxes levied and extended against said <br />property for the years 1996 to 2000 inclusive, with interest and penalties, amounting to <br />the sum of Six hundred ninety-five and 54/100 ($695.54) dollars; WHEREAS, said real <br />property was offered for sale, and sold, pursuant to authority to law, on the 22nd day of <br />January, 2002, and at said sale, said second party became the purchaser of the whole <br />thereof, for the sum of One and no/100 ($1.00) dollars, which has been paid in full; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the said county as party of the first part, in consideration of the <br />premises, and pursuant to authority of law, hereby assigns, that certain real property <br />situated in Cass County, North Dakota, described as follows, to wit: <br /> <br />Lot 1 (One) Block 1 (One), Second Addition to the City of Page, Cass <br />County, North Dakota <br /> <br />Tax Pamel Number:05-0300-01316-000 <br /> <br />To have and to hold the above described real property with all of the appurtenances <br />thereunto belonging to the said party of the second part, City of Page, heirs and <br />assigns forever. <br /> <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF Aion Wieland and Michael Montplaisir, as chairman of the <br />board of county commissioners and county auditor, respectively, of said county, hereby <br />do set their hands the day and year first above written and do cause the seal of said <br />county to be affixed thereto. <br /> <br />Cass County, North Dakota <br /> <br />SEAL <br /> <br />Chairman <br />Cass County Commission <br /> <br />Cass County Auditor <br /> <br />SUGGESTED MOTION: <br />Move to authorize the chairman and the county auditor to sign two county deeds to the <br />City of Page for tax-forfeited property purchased from the county. <br /> <br /> <br />
