<br />~ <br /> <br />-- <br /> <br />Commission Minutes--August 6,2001 2317 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AUGUST 6, 2001 <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman John Meyer called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with four members present as <br />follows: Donna Schneider, Alon Wieland, Scott Wagner, and John Meyer. Robyn Sorum was <br />absent. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded that the minutes of <br />the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Wagner seconded to approve the order <br />of the agenda with the following addition to the regular agenda: <br />requestfrom County Engineerforemergency highway repair contract. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />PERMITS FOR RAFFLE, Kindred School PTO: St. Peter's Lutheran Church WELCA <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve a raffle <br />permit for the Kindred School Parent Teacher Organization to be held <br />September 21, 2001, at the Kindred Public School in Kindred, North <br />Dakota. On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve a raffle <br />permit for St. Peter's Lutheran Church WELCA to be held October 13, <br />2001, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Leonard, North Dakota. On roll <br />call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />5. PERMIT FOR SPECIAL EVENT, Approved for Red Baron Lounae & Pizza Pub <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to approve a special <br />event permit for the Red Baron Lounge and Pizza Pub to dispense <br />alcoholic beverages at Bonanzaville, USA, in West Fargo, North <br />Dakota, on the date of September 8, 2001, for a wedding reception. <br />On roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />-- <br /> <br />OMITTED ASSESSMENTS, Approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wagner moved and Mr. Wieland seconded to add Lots 1-6, Block <br />7, Original to the City of Kindred, as omitted property for 2001 in the <br />amount of $21 0,000, according to notice sent from the county auditor <br />
