<br />Commission Minutes--May 15, 2000 2122 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />MAY 15, 2000 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman John Meyer called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as <br />follows: Donna Schneider, Robbie Quick, Alon Wieland, Paul Koenig and John Meyer. <br /> <br />2. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Wieland moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded that the minutes of <br />the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mr. Koenig moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to approve the order <br />of the agenda with the following additions to the consent agenda: 1) <br />contract approvals for Morris Seal Coat and Trucking, Roadway <br />Services, North Dakota Department of Agriculture, Caterpillar <br />Financial Services Corporation and Deere Credit, Inc.; and 2) <br />designate the county courthouse as the absentee ballot precinct. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. LEASE ON FLOOD LOT IN FOREST RIVER SUBDIVISION, ApDroved with Linda Kevorkian <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to authorize the <br />chairman to sign a lease on Lot 18, Forest River Subdivision, with <br />Linda Kevorkian. The lot was acquired by Cass County government <br />as a result of flood buyouts. On roll call vote, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />5. PERMIT FOR SITE AUTHORIZATIONS, Granted for Arthur W. Jones Post 7564: Dokken <br />& Schroeder Post #223: National Multiple Sclerosis Society <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to grant site <br />authorization permits to conduct games of chance under license <br />issued by the North Dakota Attorney General's Office for the period <br />of July 1, 2000 through June 30, 2001, as follows: Arthur W. Jones <br />Post 7564 at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds; Dokken & Schroeder <br />Post #223 at the Erie American Legion Hall; and National Multiple <br />Sclerosis Society-Dakota Chapter at the Wild Rice Bar and Grill. On <br />roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6. SOCIAL SERVICES, Budget adjustment apDroved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to approve the <br />budget adjustment in the Social Services budget for the Family <br />
