<br />Commission Minutes--March 6, 2000 2099 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />MARCH 6, 2000 <br /> <br />1. MEETING TO ORDER <br />Chairman John Meyer called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with four members present as <br />follows: Donna Schneider, Robbie Quick, Paul Koenig and John Meyer. Alon Wieland was <br />absent. <br /> <br />2. MINUTES APPROVED <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Quick moved and Mr. Koenig seconded that the minutes of the <br />previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA, Order approved <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to approve the order <br />of the agenda with the following changes: 1) request from Bennigan's <br />Grill & Tavern to withdraw special event permit for March 16, 17 and <br />18, 2000; and 2) under contract approval, add construction and <br />maintenance agreement and right of way certification for the County <br />Highway 81 reconstruction project and for the County Highway 81 <br />bridge over the Wild Rice River with the North Dakota Department of <br />Transportation. Motion carried. <br /> <br />4. RESOLUTION #2000-2, Condolence to Vivian Miller family <br />MOTION, passed <br />Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to adopt Resolution <br />#2000-2 as follows: On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #2000-2 <br />WHEREAS, Vivian Miller served as the courthouse lunch counter operator for over six <br />years and worked for the previous operator approximately six years prior to taking over <br />the management of the cafeteria; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Vivian Miller was a genuine asset to Cass County employees and to the <br />citizens she served over the past twelve years; <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Board of Commissioners of Cass County, <br />North Dakota, does hereby express its heartfelt condolences to the Vivian Miller family; <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That this resolution be inscribed upon the permanent <br />records of the proceedings of the Board of County Commissioners and a copy forwarded <br />to the family. <br /> <br />Dated at Fargo, North Dakota, this 6th day of March, 2000. <br />
