Commission Minutes-February 22, 2000 2094 DEPARTMENT HEADS--PLEASE POST IN A CONSPICUOUS PLACE FOR STAFF TO READ REGULAR MEETING OF CASS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FEBRUARY 22, 2000 1. MEETING TO ORDER Chairman John Meyer called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM with all members present as follows: Donna Schneider, Robbie Quick, Alon Wieland, Paul Koenig and John Meyer. 2. MINUTES APPROVED MOTION, passed Mrs. Quick moved and Mr. Wieland seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. 3. AGENDA, Order approved MOTION, passed Mrs. Schneider moved and Mr. Koenig seconded to approve the order of the agenda. Motion carried. 4. COURTHOUSE LUNCH COUNTER, Commendation letter to Vivian Miller MOTION, passed Mrs. Quick moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to authorize the chair to sign a commendation letter to Vivian Miller, Cass County Courthouse Lunch Counter Operator, who is resigning after 12 years of service at the lunch counter. Motion carried unanimously. Jon Miller, Ms. Miller's son, was present to receive the letter as well as Marion Domier, who has worked at the lunch counter for several years. 5. ROAD DEPARTMENT, Commendation letter to Gary Hegle MOTION, passed Mrs. Quick moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to authorize the chair to sign a commendation letter to Gary Hegle for 33 years of service in the Cass County Highway Department. Motion carried unanimously. 6. OMITTED PROPERTY ASSESSMENT, Approved for Ernest Olson MOTION, passed Mrs. Quick moved and Mrs. Schneider seconded to add a 18.38 acre tract in the SW 1/4 of Section 33 Township 141 Range 49 in Harwood Township as omitted property for the years 1998 and 1999 in the amount of $128,900 residential lot and structure and $134,600 residential lot and structure respectively, according to notice sent from the county auditor to Ernest Olson, Harwood, North Dakota. Motion carried unanimously.
