Fargo and West Fargo sprayed with truck mounted foggers eleven times <br />. Nine rural communities in Cass County have been sprayed in the evenings and <br />weekends <br />. Five housing developments have used contracted spraying; over 100 residential <br />areas received barrier treatments <br />. 82 recreational areas such as schools, parks, golf courses and playing fields are <br />sprayed almost weekly <br />. Public areas such as NDSU, Newman Outdoor Field and the Red River Zoo are <br />treated regularly <br /> <br />Larviciding: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Over 5,600 acres of standing water treated throughout the county <br />Over 10,000 pounds of material distributed by hand or backpack <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Survellence: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Twenty eight-traps positioned throughout the county <br />Vectest antigen panel assay analysis for West Nile Virus, Saint Louis <br />Encephalitis, and Western Equine Encephalitis conducted on site - no positive <br />mosquito pools to date <br />Participation in state wide West Nile Virus program with the North Dakota <br />Department of Health and Centers for Disease Control <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br />
