<br /> <br />33 <br /> a. Distribution pipe used in trenches or beds <br />for gravity flow distribution shall be at <br />least four inches in diameter and <br />constructed of sound and durable <br />material not subject to corrosion or decay <br />or to loss of strength under continuously <br />wet conditions. <br /> <br /> b. Perforated pipe used for sewage <br />distribution pipes shall have one or more <br />rows of holes of no less than ½ inch in <br />diameter spaced no more than 36 inches <br />apart. Holes shall be spaced to prevent <br />failure due to loads. Distribution pipes <br />shall have a load bearing capacity of not <br />less than 1,000 lbs per lineal foot. <br /> <br /> c. Other devices may be used to distribute <br />sewage tank effluent over the soil <br />treatment area upon approval by the <br />Health Officer or designated Health <br />Officer. <br /> <br /> 9. Pressure Distribution <br /> <br /> a. Distribution pipes used or beds for <br />pressure distribution shall be at least one <br />inch in diameter and constructed of sound <br />and durable material not subject to <br />corrosion or decay or to loss of strength <br />under continuously wet conditions. <br /> <br /> b. Perforations shall be sized and spaced as <br /> shown in Table V. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
