<br />SHEYENNE-MAPLE FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT.NO. 3 PROJECT <br />NOTICE OF HEARING <br /> <br />The Cass County Joint Water Resource Board has determined that <br /> <br />it is necessary to construct and maintain the Sheyenne-Maple Flood <br /> <br />Control District No. <br /> <br />3 proj ect. <br /> <br />This proj ect consists of the <br /> <br />preliminary analysis, design, and construction of a dry dam and <br /> <br />associated features <br /> <br />on the Maple River, <br /> <br />a rechannelization of <br /> <br />certain portions of the Maple River, levees and berms to protect <br /> <br />certain roadways, <br /> <br />including North Dakota State Highway No. <br /> <br />46, <br /> <br />improvements <br /> <br />and/or <br /> <br />warning <br /> <br />signals <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />certain <br /> <br />county <br /> <br />and/or <br /> <br />township roads, mitigation measures, and other miscellaneous items. <br /> <br />The Water Resource Board, after having personally inspected each <br /> <br />lot, piece or parcel of land within the district, has determined <br /> <br /> <br />the benefits of the improvements to each lot, piece or parcel of <br /> <br />land and has caused to be made the assessment list. <br /> <br />The Board has <br /> <br />also determined that a levy for maintenance of the project may be <br /> <br />levied from time to time as necessary pursuant to the provisions of <br /> <br />Section 61-16.1-45 N.D.C.C. <br /> <br />The estimated costs of the project are as follows, to~wit: <br /> <br />Construction <br />Land Cost <br />Engineering <br />Contingencies <br />Attorney's Fees <br />Legal Advertising <br />Administrative Expense <br />Construction Interest <br />Bond Issuance Costs <br />Bond Discount <br />Miscellaneous <br /> <br />$ 11,325,000 <br />350,000 <br />1,700,000 <br />750,000 <br />2,950,000 <br />1,200,000 <br />2,750,000 <br />150,000 <br />500,000 <br />75,000 <br />750,000 <br /> <br />TOTAL PROJECT COST <br /> <br />$ 22,500,000 <br /> <br />Less Estimated NDSWC Funds <br />Less Estimated RRJtWRD Funds <br />Less Estimated CCJtWRD Funds <br /> <br />11,250,000 <br />5,625,000 <br />2,875,000 <br /> <br />ESTIMATED COST TO ASSESS <br /> <br />$ <br /> <br />2,750,000 <br />
