W. Wallwork, Inc. was the low bidder on cars for the Sheriff's Department. The Board asked that the matter be delayed for two weeks. Upon the request of Virgil Mueller from the Lake Agassiz Regional Council, Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the Chairman be authorized to sign the Grant Award and Acceptance from the Law Enforcement Council for the Criminal Justice Planning position. Motion carried. Upon the request of Art Lieb, Juvenile Supervisor, Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the Chairman be authorized to sign the Grant Award and Acceptance for a 4th probation officer to work with abused children and their parents, the County's share to be 5% for the first year. Motion carried. Mr. Satrom moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that the following Officer's Reports for October be received and filed: Motion carried. Clerk of Court County Court Register of Deeds Sheriff $ 2,756.50 $24,738.80 $12,687.00 $ 2,355.60 Mr. Satrom moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that Vouchers No. 55,445 through No. 56,167 and Revenue Sharing Vouchers No. 174 and 175 be approved and ordered paid. Motion carried. On motion by Mrs. Stanton and seconded by Mr. Sondrall, the meeting was adjourned. ADJOURNED MEETING OF CASS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS NOVEMBER 15, 1978 Chairman Wold called the meeting to order and all members were present. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. The County Road Superintendent reported that he t~lked to the Chairman of the Rush River Water Management Board concerning blocked culverts in Berlin Township as reported by Lowell Siebels. He stated that the water management board will not agree to put a culvert in County Road 32 because they feel it would cause more problems. Mr. Scheffler reported that Steve Grindberg from the Road Department is meeting with the people in the area of the County Road 31 bridge project because the bridge will not be completed this fall but the contractor is re~oving the work bridge and the people want an alternative crossing. The Board authorized Mr. Scheffler to draft a letter to Houston Engineering and to request them to appear before:the Board next Wednesday to discuss problems the Road Department is having with them burying rural water lines along County roads. Mr. Sondrall moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the following Monthly Reports for August, September and October be received and filed: Motion carried. Motion carried. On motion by Mrs. Stanton and seconded by Mr. Sondrall, the meeting was adjourned. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Satrom seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. Upon the recommendation of Steve Grindberg, Assistnat Road Superintendent, Mr. Satrom moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the Northwestern Bell Telephone Company be granted permission to bury cable under County Road 6 south of West Fargo and south of Casselton. Motion carried.
