Sapa and ,Associates. Torn Jensen, County Social Services Director, was present and asked to be kept ,informed of the County's plans involving the Annex since his offices are located there. ! An Invocation was given by Chairman Wold. Mr. Satrom moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as written. Motion carried. Rd. projects be completed to i soonj I i I The County Road Superintendent 'reported that the asphalt job at Tower City would be completed today and also the road leading to the Convent bridge would be completed in three or four days. Delegation from Wheatland req. asst. to blacktop! ::::o::r:::nShipll, road to be regraveled this' spring A delegation from Wheatland appeared before the Board requesting assistance to blacktop the Main Street in Wheatland. After discussion it was decided that there are no funds available at this time, but to come back in the spring to discuss the possibility of using money from next year's budget. Upon the request of Wayne Freedland from Harwood Township, Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the County regravel in the spring several miles of township road in Harwood Township because the road received extra traffic due to the bridge construction on County Road 31. I I Upon the request of Glenn Ellingsberg from the County Sheriff's Department, Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the Chairman be authorized to sign the grant application to purchase a video recorder for training tapes for the jail staff. Motion carried. Appt. to CAA Mr. Hendrickson moved and Mr. Sondrall seconded that George Griffeth be reappointed for another term on the Southeastern North Dakota Community Action Agency Board. Motion carried. Mrs. Stanton moved and Mr. Hendrickson seconded that the Board adopt a proclamation making November 10th Rollie Beach Day. Motion carried. The following bids were received for cars for the Sheriff's Department: Antoine Chevrolet - Casselton $6,596.75 per car A & W Motors - Kindred $6,854.25 per car W.W. Wallwork, Inc. - Fargo $6,415.75 per car A bid was also received from Muscatell Chevrolet but was not accepted as it did not contain l a bid bond. Mr. Satrom moved and Mrs. Stanton seconded that the bids be received, filed and referred to the Sheriff's Office for their recommendation. Motion carried.
